The City of Wellington and the Chamber of Commerce have put out the call for entries for the 2015 Outdoor Christmas Decoration Contest.
The theme this year is “Christmas Wonderland.” There are both commercial and residential categories, first place for each is a $300 credit towards their utility bill. See the chamber's website for the complete list of rules and entry forms. Last year's winners aren't eligible for prizes this year, contestants must be City of Wellington utility customers. Winners in both categories will be announced on Thursday, December 17 at 10 a.m. At Daylight Donuts.
The Sumner Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is sponsoring a book fair, it will be in the basement of the board room at the hospital this coming Monday, October 26 from 9 a.m. To 4 p.m. Proceeds go towards equipment for SRMC.
