There can't be too many more special things on planet Earth than being around children at Christmas time...the older I get the more I appreciate that. If you agree you would have loved to have been at Washington school on Wednesday as the Mustangs put on a program and literally "decked the halls" with a personally made ornament from every student in the school. What a transition they made - one moment the tree is bare, the next it adorns the heart-felt works of dozens of Mustangs serving as a beacon to all - the joys and hopes of this very special season.
Each class under the direction of music instructor Pamela Thompson performed a variety of Christmas Carols to the delight of all. Special Christmas Readings (serious and fun!) were presented by First Grade Teacher Barbara White - both readings very special! Parents were on hand - joy was in the air!
